Is Red from HeartGold/SoulSilver the strongest version of Red to date?

I have a few reasonings for this
- His pokemon are all higher level than the original games and even higher than all the times we see Red afterwards (why is GameFreak so afraid to show us his team at level 100 with perfect IVs, and nature. Why would his Pokemon team go LOWER level in later games?)
- He has abilities on all his Pokemon that didnt exist back in gen 2 which would make all his Pokemon extra challenging to deal with. Not to mention that the Special stat split is possibly working in his favor too and with a more advanced moveset for his Pokemon it will make them hit harder than before.
- Mt. Silver in the original game, to the best of my knowledge. He was inside of the mountain at its highest point in the cavern. While in the remake he was on top of the mountain. This is important to point out because this gives him the advantage of having Hail all throughout the battle unless you have a Pokemon to interrupt this. Would even give his Pokemon like Lapras and Blastoise perfect accuracy when using Blizzard.
With all this said. I'm not convinced that Red going forward in any other games will ever be as powerful as he was back in HeartGold/SoulSilver. If GameFreak wasnt so afraid of giving us a challenging endgame fight I'd welcome that so much given that hes supposed to be this legendary trainer, possibly the greatest trainer in the entire series but they dont really treat him as such.

Rooster Teeth Shutdown: Red vs. Blue and where to find it.

With the final closure of the Rooster Teeth website, and RTs insistance on removing much of their content from YouTube, many may be wondering where you can watch that once popular web-series: Red vs. Blue.
I intend to keep this post as a repository, cataloguing public archives of RvB and RT content. There are of course still legal ways to acquire the show via YouTube, Amazon, Apple. However with that money no longer supporting RT, I can only recommend them on a convenience basis and instead offer some free alternatives.
The most comprehensive and accessible is: https://archiveofpimps.com/ which contains all of the main series and mini-series in both its original and remastered states. It appears to lack some PSAs but with tonnes of other RT content and a strong interface it’s currently the strongest contender.

Top Comment: Blue. To me it's a peaceful colour, as it's the same colour as a clear sky or peaceful ocean. Red, OTOH, is a painful colour. Bloody and raw.

Red vs Blue Zero is likely going to be Red vs Blue's Future.

Everything implied by RT and Fiona indicates that RVB: Zero is going to be Red vs Blue's future in the future.
If RVB: Zero doesn't pull in the views that RT wants - Red vs Blue is probalby going to get on a signifcant hiatus or straight up cancelled for the near future.
If Red vs Blue: Zero does well - we will likely see more seasons like it (with improvments most likely). My recommendation for those who don't like the direction Red vs Blue would to be leave/drop the show because this is likely going to be RVB's future.

Hi everyone hope u guys doing well I'm a high school senior and I'm building my first rig for college And I'm wondering which side should I go with a full blown red with a ryzen 5 1600 CPU and rx 480 or Intel i5 7600k and NVIDIA gtx 1060 Or ryzen CPU and gtx 1060 I need your experience guys so which system is the best and thank you

I would go with the R5 1600 even for pure gaming. The lack of Hyper Threading on the 7600k hurts quite a bit in CPU intensive games and that definitely won't get any better with time.

Top Comment: I must disagree wholeheartedly, Red is by far the ultimate trainer, while Red and Gold are both very strong and well rounded character, the matchup is almost laughable, Red is a pokemon champion who when he went through the league 3 years before Golds quest began, he had to fight his way through 8 gym leader who were overall stronger (evidenced by the Gym-leader matchup in the pokemon adventures manga, the only reason kanto lost was because blaine did not want to murder the other opponents). When Red faced team rocket, he had to take down the leader and founder, 8th gym leader and overall one of the strongest trainers in kanto, giovanni, and take down the 3 legendary birds after they were turned uber and combined, while gold has never had to fight a legendary, only wield one that he didn't even catch (also Red caught Mewtwo, before his first journey ended). Gold can only brag that he stopped a broken form of Team rocket whose goal had nothing to do with the original and was weakened by the lose of their original leader. Also since both are pokedex holders they are both seen as very worthy trainers in the eyes of ex-champion Prof Oak, but both are very different in their skills. Red is labeled the Battler, being that he is the strongest battler of all the pokedex holders while Golds title is the Breeder, while both are very noble, breeding is obviously something red would know nothing about being how it wasn't even discovered until 3 years after his journey ended. A final note is that Red in the games has a team of 3 starters, snorlax, lapras and pikachu, this is a weaker team then his manga and canon team, Venusaur, Espeon, Poliwrath, Aerodactyl, Snorlax and pikachu, all of who are much stronger than Gold's team when he supposedly would meet Red, Aipom, Typhlosion, Politoad, Sunflora, Sudowoodo, and togetic, it is obvious that while golds team has proven themselves, they are not battle inclined and would lose to any matchup with Red's dominating battle team

The Red Pros run at 7200 RPM whereas the standard Reds run at 5400 RPM. Whether that makes a real different in your situation I'm not sure.
